Regarding the current (5th) Melbourne Lockdown and Myotherapy:
Allied health professionals (including Myotherapist) are considered essential when working in private or public community services, whether clinic or home-based to provide essential clinical care where telehealth services are not clinically appropriate.
The specification for such care is as outlined in the following:
If not providing the service is likely to result in a deterioration in someone’s health and it cannot be delayed or provided via telehealth should a face to face service be provided.
This means, that as Advanced Myotherapy offer urgent care needs to Melbourne and surrounds, we are still in operation over this current lockdown.
Myotherapy provides essential care for the prevention of Injury exacerbation and resulting deterioration.
