SO many clients come to us with lower back pain and very often the psoas muscles / hip flexors have A LOT to do with it!

The anterior pelvic tilt associated with tight hip flexors is what often places a great deal of pressure on the lower back, which creates pain. So you may be wondering what you can do about it.

Well thats what we want to share, because it’s such a powerful insight to have about this issue that when applied, can literally help you become and maintain being pain free.

Keeping strong hamstrings helps ENORMOUSLY in balancing the pelvis in order to take the pressure off the lower back! What strong hamstrings do is balance the pelvis where weak hamstrings lead to the tight hip flexors shortening, without the balance and stability, and ultimately correct posture.

So, there are a few simple exercises we love that can help greatly in keeping the hamstrongs strong and help keep lower back pain away.

Check out this video for a quick look at a couple you can do at home that are REALLY effective at activating the hamstrings! Warning, you should stretch to warm up and afterwards!
